摹而（木胡反聲類摹法也埤蒼掩取象也說文䂓也從手莫聲或作摸）。

Trace/imitate and 摹而 (fanqie: 木胡 [mó]). The Shenglei says: '摹 means to model/imitate.' The Picang says: 'To capture and take the likeness.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To delineate/gauge.' It takes 手 ('hand') as semantic and 莫 as phonetic. It is also written as 摸.
