嬾憜 (The first character has the fanqie 蘭偘 [l- + -ǎn = lǎn]. The Kaosheng says: '嬾 means not diligent.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Remiss and lazy; it takes female [as semantic classifier] and 賴 as phonetic.' In the sūtra texts it is also written with heart [classifier] as 懶, which is acceptable. The second character has the fanqie 徒臥 [d- + -uò = duò]. The Guangya says: '憜 also means lazy.' Kong's commentary on the Shangshu also says: 'Remiss and lazy.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Disrespectful; it takes heart [classifier] and 隋 as phonetic.' 隋 has the pronunciation 隨 [suí]).
