雙膝 (The second character has the fanqie 新逸 [x- + -ì = xī]. In the Shuowen jiezi it is properly written as [桼*力], meaning the joint at the top of the shin; it takes 卪 and has 桼 as phonetic. 卪 has the pronunciation 節 [jié]. In present sūtra texts it is written with flesh [classifier] as 膝, which is also a commonly used character. 桼 has the pronunciation 七 [qī]).
