苜𰱵 (*mùxu*, clover / alfalfa; the upper character is pronounced *mù*; the lower character is pronounced *xu*. The name of a plant. Originally native to Jibin, the horses of Dayuan were fond of it. The *Hanshu* states: "When Zhang Qian returned from his mission to the Western Regions, he brought back its seeds and planted them in this land to feed mules and horses."
