We examine: "thick amniotic sac" [稠胞] refers to being shielded inside the mother's womb. The sūtra writes 脃 with the pronunciation [tsʰ]i + [ɲ]uɛi, which is not the meaning of the sūtra. The character 稠 in the Shuowen jiezi is categorized under 禾 with 周 as its phonetic).
