𧢲試 (The *fanqie* for the upper character is [k]- + [ŋɔk̚] (江岳反). Gu Yewang states: '角 [*jué*] denotes contending for victory or defeat.' Gao You's commentary on the *Chunqiu* says: '角 means to test or contest.' The *Shuowen jiezi* states that it is categorized under 刀 (knife) and an abbreviated form of 魚肉 (fish and flesh). In the sūtra text it is written with the radical 手 as 捔, which is incorrect).
