丘穽 (The second character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 情 [qíng] + 郢 [yǐng], [jǐng]. In character dictionaries it is properly written with 𨸏 [mound] as 阱. Zheng Xuan's commentary to the Zhouli says: "A pitfall (阱) is what is dug in the ground as a deep pit to catch birds and beasts." The Guangya says: "A 'jǐng' is a deep pit." The Shuowen says: "'Jǐng' is a pitfall. It takes 𨸏 as its radical and 井 as its phonetic component." In ancient script it was written with 水 [water] as 汬, or with 穴 [cave] as 穽; both are the same).
