船筏（上順專反舟也方言云自關而西謂舟為船案說文從舟從沿省聲也今作船俗字有作舡非也下煩韈反俗字也縛竹木浮於水也廣雅從舟作𦪑說文作橃從木發聲也）。

Boat and raft (船筏: the upper character has the fanqie 順專; a boat. The Fangyan says: "West of the Pass, a boat (zhōu) is called a chuán." Note: the Shuowen states that it is formed with [the semantic element] zhōu (舟) and [the phonetic element] yán (沿) abbreviated. Writing it now as 船 is a vulgar character; some write 舡, which is incorrect. The lower character has the fanqie 煩韈; a vulgar character. Bamboo or wood bound together to float on water. The Guangya writes it with zhōu (舟) as 𦪑; the Shuowen writes 橃, formed with [the semantic element] mù (木) and [the phonetic element] fā (發)).
