騰驤（上徒登反考聲云馳也奔勇也玉篇云躍也說文從馬滕省聲下息良反字書云馬騰躍也考聲云逸也說文云馳也從馬襄聲襄音同上）。

Tengxiang 騰驤 (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling [t- + -éng > t-] tú dēng 反. The Kaosheng says: "To gallop; to rush vigorously." The Yupian says: "To leap." The Shuowen jiezi states it takes the horse radical with 滕 abbreviated as the phonetic. The second character has the fanqie phonetic spelling [x- + -iáng > x-] xī liáng 反. The Zishu says: "A horse galloping and leaping." The Kaosheng says: "Swift." The Shuowen jiezi says: "To gallop." It takes the horse radical with 襄 as the phonetic, 襄 having the same sound as above).
