徙寓（上斯氏反說文云移也切韻云遷也爾雅云遷運徙也郭注云今江東通言遷徙說文云從彳二止半行也下牛具反玉篇云寄也從宀禺聲也禺音同上）。

Relocating and dwelling (徙寓: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] si + shi; the Shuowen says it means "to move"; the Qieyun says it means "to relocate"; the Erya says: "To shift, transport, and move [徙]"; Guo's commentary says: "At present in Jiangdong, people generally say qianxi [遷徙, 'relocate and move']"; the Shuowen says it is formed from the step radical [彳] and two zhi [止], representing half-walking; the second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] niu + ju; the Yupian says it means "to lodge," formed from roof [宀] with yu as phonetic; yu has the same pronunciation as above).
