Gathering and collecting (捃拾: the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 居運 [k- + -iuən = jùn]. A dictionary says: 'To take.' The Shenglei says: 'To glean ears of grain.' It is also written 𮃨 with the grain radical [禾]. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 是汁 [zh- + -ip = shí]. The Kaosheng says: 'To gather.' The Qieyun says: 'To gather and pick up.'
