胥悅（上息余反孔注尚書云胥相也公羊傳曰胥盟者何曰相盟也鄭箋詩云皆也說文從肉疋聲音疏傳文作𦙃俗字非體也）。

Mutually pleased (胥悅: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] xi + yu; Kong's commentary to the Shangshu says that xu means "mutually"; the Gongyang zhuan says: "What is meant by a mutual covenant [胥盟]? It means making a covenant with one another"; Zheng's commentary on the Shijing says it means "all"; the Shuowen says it is formed from flesh [肉] with ya as phonetic; the sound is shu; the transmitted text has 𦙃, which is a vulgar character and not the standard form).
