呪詛（上又作祝詶二形音之受反說文云詶亦詛也下側據反古文作詛釋名云祝屬也以善惡之辭相屬著也詛謂使人行事阻限於言也說文云從言且聲音子余反經文從口作咀音才與反非）。

呪詛 (The first character is also written in the two forms 祝 and 詶, with the pronunciation zhi + shou. The Shuowen jiezi says: '詶 also means to curse.' The second character has the fanqie ce + ju. In ancient script, it is written as 詛. The Shiming says: '祝 means to attach; it means attaching good or bad words. 詛 means restraining someone's actions with words.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It derives from "speech" with the phonetic qie.' 且 has the fanqie zi + yu. The scripture writes it with "mouth" as 咀, pronounced cai + yu, which is incorrect).
