蠢動（上尺允反亦動也爾雅曰蠢震動也郭注云皆搖動貌又曰蠢作也即動作也說文云動也從䖵春聲會意字䖵音昆也）。

蠢動 (Writhing and stirring: the upper character has the fanqie 尺允, and also means to move; the Erya says: “蠢 means to shake and move”; Guo’s commentary says: “All denote the appearance of stirring and shaking”; it also says: “蠢 means to act,” which means taking action; the Shuowen says it means to move; it is formed from 䖵 with the phonetic 春, an associative compound; 䖵 is pronounced 昆).
