礓石（上居良反字書石也釋名云礓薑也言石似薑而堅也從石薑形聲字經文作彊爾雅音強作彊界也陲也皆非礓石字）。

Ginger-stone [礓石] (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 居 + 良; the character dictionary says stone; the Shiming says: "Jiang means ginger; it means the stone resembles ginger and is hard"; it is a phono-semantic character with stone [石] as classifier and 薑 as phonetic; the sūtra text writes 彊, which in the Erya is pronounced 强 and means a boundary or border, neither of which is the character for jiangshi).
