瑩徹 (The first character is also written as 鎣, pronounced identically with the fanqie *wu* + *ding* [ying]. The *Qieyun* states: "*Ying* means to ornament." The *Kaosheng* states: "Luster." The second character has the fanqie *zhi* + *lie* [che]. The *Qieyun* states: "*Che* means penetrable; it means bright." A character dictionary states: "*Dao* (thoroughfare); reaching through." Writing it as 徹 is popular usage.)
