脛踝（上形定反玉篇脛足䠊膓前大骨也說文足胻也胻音幸從肉逕省聲下華瓦反蒼頡篇云在足側高處也聲類云足外附骨也說文云從足裸省聲也）。

脛踝 (The first character has the fanqie *xing* + *ding* [jing]. The *Yupian* states: "The shin (*jing*) is the large bone in front of the calf of the leg." The *Shuowen* states: "The lower leg (*heng*)." *Heng* 胻 is pronounced *xing*; it takes the 'flesh' classifier and an abbreviated phonetic *jing* 逕. The second character has the fanqie *hua* + *wa* [huai]. The *Cang Jie pian* states: "The high bone on the side of the foot." The *Shenglei* states: "The bone attached to the outer side of the foot." The *Shuowen* states: "It takes the 'foot' classifier and an abbreviated phonetic *luo* 裸.")
