彎弓（上綰關反蒼頡篇云引弓也古今正字開弓放箭也從弓䜌聲也䜌音攣下弓字說文像弓之形釋名云弓穹也張之穹隆也經作弓或作弓皆誤書字也）。

Drawing a bow (彎弓: the first [character] is *wan*, fanqie 綰關. The Cangjie pian says: 'To draw a bow.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'To draw a bow and shoot an arrow.' Derived from the bow radical 弓 with 䜌 as phonetic; 䜌 is pronounced *luan*. The second character 弓, the Shuowen jiezi says: 'Depicts the shape of a bow.' The Shiming says: 'A bow (弓) is a vault (穹); when strung it is vaulted.' In the sūtra text it is written as 弓 or 弓, which are both erroneous scribal characters).
