箜篌（上苦紅反下胡溝反樂器名也世本云師延所作靡靡之音也漢書云靈帝好胡服作胡箜篌也二字並從竹空侯皆聲也）。

Harp (箜篌: the first [character] is *kong*, fanqie 苦紅. The second [character] is *hou*, fanqie 胡溝. The name of a musical instrument. The Shiben says: 'The seductive music created by Shi Yan.' The Hanshu says: 'Emperor Ling loved foreign customs and made foreign harps.' Both characters are derived from the bamboo radical 竹, with 空 and 侯 serving as their respective phonetics).
