跣足（上蘇典反集訓云足親於地也從足先聲下即玉反爾雅曰足趾也從口止作足經文作足書寫人草變非也）。

跣足 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie su + dian. The Jixun says: "The foot directly touching the ground." Classified under 'foot' [足], with 先 as phonetic. The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie ji + yu. The Erya says: "足 means toes." Composed of 口 and 止 to make 足. The sūtra text writes it as 足 through cursive script deformation by copyists, which is incorrect).
