瀑漲 (for the first character, [bào], fanqie 薄報 [b- + -ɑu = bɑu/bào]. The Erya says: “A torrential rain (瀑雨) is called dòng.” Guo's commentary says: “In Jiangdong, summer torrential rain is called dòng rain.” 涷 is pronounced 東. For the second character, [zhàng], fanqie 知亮 [ʈ- + -ɨaŋ = ʈɨaŋ/zhàng]. The Qieyun says: “Great floodwaters overflowing.” The Shuowen says: “Waters swelling.” It takes 水 as radical and 張 as phonetic; it is a phono-semantic character.)
