【康僧鎧】印度人。廣學群經，義暢幽旨。嘉平四年，於洛陽白馬寺，譯《無量壽經》。

【Saṅghavarman】A native of India. He broadly studied various scriptures, his understanding elucidating their profound purports. In the fourth year of Jiaping, at the White Horse Monastery in Luoyang, he translated the Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra.
