【支謙】月氏國優婆塞也。漢末游洛，該覽經籍及諸伎藝，善諸國語。細長黑瘦，白眼黃睛。時人語曰：「支郎眼中黃，形軀雖細是智囊。」武烈皇帝，以其才慧，拜為博士。謙譯經典，深得義旨。

【Zhiqian】An upāsaka of the Yuezhi kingdom. At the end of the Han dynasty, he traveled to Luoyang, thoroughly familiar with scriptures, records, and various arts, and skilled in the languages of various countries. He was tall, thin, and dark, with white eyes and yellow pupils. People of the time said: ‘Master Zhi has yellow in his eyes; though his frame is slender, he is a sack of wisdom.’ Emperor Wulie, recognizing his talent and wisdom, appointed him an Erudite. The scriptures Qian translated deeply grasped the meaning and purport.
