【摩由邏】此云孔雀，文：孔雀綷羽而翱翔。《俱舍》云：「於一孔雀倫，一切種因相，非餘智境界，唯一切智知。」證真釋云：「有情無始熏造一切界趣種子，在本識中，唯佛能了，且舉孔雀一類，尚已難知。」

【Mayūra】 This translates as peacock. The literature says: 'The peacock soars with variegated plumage.' The Abhidharmakośa says: 'In a single flock of peacocks, the manifold causal characteristics are not within the scope of other knowledge; only the Omniscient One knows them.' Zhengzhen explains: 'Sentient beings from beginningless time have perfumed and produced seeds of all realms and destinies within the fundamental consciousness; only the Buddha can fully comprehend them. Even citing the single species of peacocks, it is already difficult to know.'
