Regarding the *Bhadrakalpika-sūtra*: on the twenty-first day of the seventh month in the first year of Yongkang [300 CE], the Yuezhi bodhisattva Zhu Dharmarakṣa obtained this Bhadrakalpika-samādhi from a śramaṇa of Kapiśa; holding it in hand, he orally proclaimed it. At that time, Zhu Fayou sent [the paper] from Luoyang, and the recorder was Zhao Wenlong. May this merit and blessing flow to the ten directions, so that all may universally receive grace and be freed from the hindrances of sin. As for this sūtra, one successively beholds the thousand Buddhas, reverently receives their instruction in the Way, receives the bodhisattva prediction, and attains the forbearance of non-arising up to all dharmas; the same applies to the ten directions.
