沙門維祇難者。此言障礙。印度人也。學通三藏妙善四含。以遊化為業。與竺律炎發自西域因到江左。以黃武三年歲次甲辰。於武昌郡譯。阿差末經（四卷）。法句集經（二卷）。

The śramaṇa Vighna—which means 'Obstacle' [in Chinese]—was a man of India. In his studies he had mastered the Tripiṭaka and was profoundly versed in the four Āgamas. Taking itinerant conversion as his vocation, he set out from the Western Regions together with Zhu Lüyan and consequently arrived south of the Yangtze. In the third year of the Huangwu era, the cyclical year jiachen, he translated in Wuchang commandery: the Axiamo jing (four fascicles) and the Dharmapada Anthology (two fascicles).
