The newly translated Avataṃsaka-sūtra in forty fascicles at Chongfu Monastery.
Memorial presented by Ma Chengqian, General of the Left and Right Gate-Surveillance Guards and Director of the Palace Domestic Service: "Your servant has obtained the report from the monk Zhitong, Overseer of Sūtra Copying in the All-Canon Sūtra-Copying Hall at Guangzhai Monastery, stating that upon checking the Kaiyuan Catalogue of the Canon, he found the count of canon sūtras not yet entered into the canon within the Buddhist catalogue compiled by the śramaṇa Xuanyi of Huayan Monastery in the Superior Capital."
Official communication from the Secretariat-Chancellery. Official communication from the Commissioner of Merit and Virtue for the Right Street: "An imperial decree has been respectfully received commanding that the relevant offices append [these texts] into the catalogue. The communication has arrived, and in accordance with the decree, this official communication is issued."
