"Good man! Sentient beings as numerous as the sands of the Ganges who initially give rise to thought-faith practice subduing patience, and generate within the Three Jewels the ten minds of the disposition of practice: the mind of faith, the mind of vigorous progression, the mind of mindfulness, the mind of wisdom, the mind of concentration, the mind of giving, the mind of morality, the mind of protection, the mind of vows, and the mind of dedication. Such bodhisattvas are able to convert sentient beings to a small degree, having already surpassed all the wholesome stages of the two vehicles. All buddhas and bodhisattvas nurture these ten minds as the noble embryo.
