"Next arise the ten minds of the disposition of nature of dry wisdom, namely the four mindfulness bases—body, feeling, mind, and dharmas as impure, suffering, impermanent, and non-self; the three mindfulness bases; and the three wholesome roots, which are loving-kindness, giving, and wisdom. The three mindfulness bases refer to the three times: patience regarding past causes, patience regarding present causes and effects, and patience regarding future effects. Such bodhisattvas can likewise convert all sentient beings, having already surpassed notions of a self, a person, a knower, a seer, and a sentient being, and they cannot be corrupted by the inverted notions of non-Buddhists.
