"Great King! Therefore, buddhas after buddhas appear in the world, and for the sake of sentient beings, formulate names for the three realms and the six destinies. These are called immeasurable names, such as the dharmas of space, the dharmas of the four great elements, the dharmas of mind, and the dharmas of form. Nominal dharmas of continuity are neither one nor different; if one, there is no continuity, and if different, there is no continuity; because they are neither one nor different, they are called the truth of continuity. Nominal dharmas of mutual dependence: all names are mutually dependent, also called indefinite mutual dependence, like the dharmas of the five colors and the like, and all dharmas of existence and non-existence. All dharmas are formed by conditions, conventionally constituting sentient beings, simultaneous causes and effects, sequential causes and effects, good and evil in the three periods of time; all are illusory and transformed; these are sentient beings of the illusory truth.
