經。世尊至阿蘭那行者　贊曰。此却釋佛言也。若有取相。我得之心。內有惑纏。外起他諍。佛即不說我是能行無諍行者。

Sūtra: World-Honoured One, [if I had this thought: 'I have attained the path of an arhat,' the World-Honoured One would not say that Subhūti is one who delights in the practice of araṇa.] / Commentary: This retroactively explains the Buddha's words. If he possessed the grasped mark and the mind of 'I have attained,' internally there would be the entanglements of delusion, and externally dispute with others would arise; then the Buddha would not have said that he was one capable of practicing the practice of non-dispute.
