Sūtra: "The Tathāgata speaks this for those who set out... on the superior vehicle." / Commentary: This reconfirms it. To establish the preceding meaning of inestimability, it says it is spoken for those who set out on the Great Vehicle, spoken for those on the superior vehicle. These twofold emptinesses belong to bodhisattvas; their essence is without difference, but in terms of meaning, below, because the two can purify the two obstacles, it is called the Great Vehicle; because other vehicles cannot reach it, it is also called the most supreme aspiration. Such a person is called 'one who sets out.' The great-minded person is called a 'great person' in the Treatise; this is what the preceding verse meant by 'spoken only relying on great persons.' Because it is spoken for great persons, it is inestimable.
