[Sūtra:] "They obtain such immeasurable merit." The fourth explains the fruit of faith. Although faith lasts only a single thought-moment, the merit is immeasurable. The *Mahāyānasūtrālaṃkāra* states: A wise person who produces great faith in the supreme Dharma of the Mahāyāna obtains three kinds of fruit: 1. they obtain the fruit of great supremacy, because their faith increases; 2. they obtain the fruit of great merit, because their merit increases; 3. they obtain the fruit of great bodhi, because its qualities are unequalled and because of the Buddha's great nature.
