1.21

經。過無量至隨路而行　二受畜生此得餘殘果。以自讚毀他餘殘果故受牛馬等身。以嫉妬餘殘果故受鞭杖等苦。

Sūtra: Having passed through immeasurable [...] to [...] proceeding along the path. Second, undergoing [rebirth as] animals. This is obtaining the residual fruit. Due to the residual fruit of praising oneself and disparaging others, one receives the bodies of oxen, horses, and the like. Due to the residual fruit of jealousy, one undergoes the sufferings of whips, sticks, and the like.
