1.22

經。若生人道至受他驅役　三受下賤。此得增上果。以自讚毀他增上果故。常居下賤為人奴婢。以嫉妬增上果故。受他驅役。

Sūtra: If born in the human realm [...] to [...] driven and employed by others. Third, undergoing [rebirth as the] base and lowly. This is obtaining the adhipati-phala (dominant fruit). Due to the dominant fruit of praising oneself and disparaging others, one constantly dwells in a base and lowly state, becoming a servant to others. Due to the dominant fruit of jealousy, one is driven and employed by others.
