1.37

經。若有女人至永離女身　七永離女身。由聞藥師如來名故。轉女成男。往生淨土。以女人及根缺不生淨土。今此段文明轉不定業得成正定業。

Sūtra: “If there is a woman…” to “…forever abandon the female body.” Seventh, forever abandoning the female body. Through hearing the name of Bhaiṣajyaguru Tathāgata, one transforms from female into male and is reborn in the pure land. Because women and those deficient in faculties are not born in the pure land, this section of the text clarifies that indeterminate karma is transformed so as to become positively determined karma.
