經。若能至供養　三勸病修供文分為四。一正為修供。二緣此魂歸。三剋日定生。四親經過息。此則初也。謂有若然為此病人歸依彼佛。如法供養者必當稱遂也。

Sūtra: 'If they can... make offerings.' Part 3: Urging the cultivation of offerings for the sick. The text has four parts: 1. Directly cultivating offerings; 2. Thereby the soul returns; 3. Setting a date for certain survival; 4. Personally experiencing it, past faults cease. This is the first. It means that if someone takes refuge in that Buddha on behalf of this sick person and makes offerings in accordance with the Dharma, they will certainly achieve their wish.
