1.43

「說是語已，普賢菩薩復更為說懺悔之法：『汝於前世無量劫中，以貪香故，分別諸識處處貪著，墮落生死。汝今應當觀大乘因。大乘因者，諸法實相是。』聞是語已，五體投地復更懺悔。

“When these words are spoken, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva further expounds to him the method of repentance: ‘In past lives throughout immeasurable kalpas, because of greed for fragrance, you discriminated the various consciousnesses, everywhere greedy and attached, falling into birth and death. You should now contemplate the cause of the Mahāyāna. The cause of the Mahāyāna is the true reality of all dharmas.’ Having heard these words, he casts his five limbs to the ground and repents again.
