文殊師利法王子菩薩 什曰。秦言妙德。以法身遊方莫知其所生。又來補佛處故言法王子也。
"Mañjuśrī Bodhisattva, Prince of the Dharma." Kumārajīva says: "In the language of Qin, this means 'Wondrous Virtue'. Because he traverses the regions in his dharmakāya, none know the place of his birth. Furthermore, because he will succeed to the position of a Buddha, he is called a Prince of the Dharma."
