於是諸女問維摩詰。我等云何止於魔宮　三弟子辭師故請法也。肇曰。昔在魔宮以五欲為樂。今在菩薩以法樂為樂。復還魔天當何所業耶。

Thereupon, the maidens asked Vimalakīrti, "How should we dwell in the māra's palace?" Third, the disciples taking leave of their teacher, and thus requesting the Dharma. Zhao says: "Formerly in the māra's palace, they took the five desires as pleasure; now with the bodhisattva, they take the delight in the Dharma as pleasure. Returning again to the māra heaven, what should their practice be?"
