又問。欲貪孰為本。答曰。虛妄分別為本　三問答也。肇曰。法無美惡。虛妄分別謂是美是惡。美惡既形則貪欲是生也。又云。色愛住地也。

He asked again: "What is the root of desire and craving?" He replied: "False discrimination is the root." This is the third exchange. Sengzhao says: "Dharmas lack fine and foul; false discrimination considers this fine and this foul. Once fine and foul take form, greed and desire are born." It is also said: "This is the entrenchment of form-craving."
