阿難。諸佛色身威相種姓。戒定智惠解脫解脫知見。力無所畏不共之法。大慈大悲威儀所行。及其壽命說法教化。成就眾生淨佛國土。具諸佛法。悉皆同等　此二明平等。文二。此初。法佛身土真應權實皆等有也。生曰。諸佛色身雖復若干而一佛無不有之。故無不等矣。

"Ānanda, the Buddhas' physical bodies, majestic marks, lineages, morality, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation's knowledge and vision; their powers, fearlessnesses, and unshared dharmas; their great kindness, great compassion, deportment, and conduct; as well as their lifespans, preaching the Dharma, instructing and transforming, bringing sentient beings to fruition, purifying Buddha-lands, and perfecting all Buddha-dharmas—all are entirely equal." This second part explains equality. The text has two parts; this is the first. The Dharma-Buddha's bodies and lands, true and responsive, expedient and real, are all equally possessed. Daosheng says: "Although the physical bodies of the Buddhas are diverse, there is no Buddha who does not possess them; hence there is nothing unequal."
