“When these words are spoken, the practitioner immediately sees that the ground of all the immeasurable worlds of the eastern direction is flat as the palm of a hand, free of heaps, mounds, hills, and brambles, with lapis lazuli as the ground, interlaced with yellow gold; the worlds of the ten directions are also like this. Having seen this ground, he then sees jeweled trees. The jeweled trees are lofty and marvelous, five thousand yojanas high, and these trees constantly produce yellow gold, white silver, and the seven jewels as adornments. Underneath the trees there are naturally jeweled lion thrones. The lion thrones are twenty yojanas high, and from the thrones also emanate the radiance of a hundred treasures. In this way, beneath these trees and other jeweled seats, upon each and every jeweled seat there are naturally five hundred white elephants, and atop the elephants is always Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.
