八中第三明有情量建立分五　一人趣身量分四。一南州。二東州。三西州。四北州　二天趣身量分二。一欲天分六。六天差別故。二色天分四。四靜慮差別故　三惡趣身量分三。一地獄　二傍生。三鬼趣　四明非天身量　五明無色天身量。

The third among the eight, explaining the establishment of the size of sentient beings, has five parts: (1) the body size of the human destiny, which has four: 1. southern continent, 2. eastern continent, 3. western continent, 4. northern continent; (2) the body size of the heavenly destiny, which has two: 1. desire heavens, which has six, because of the distinctions among the six heavens; 2. form heavens, which has four, because of the distinctions among the four dhyānas; (3) the body size of the unfortunate destinies, which has three: 1. hells; 2. animals; 3. hungry ghost destiny; (4) explaining the body size of asuras; (5) explaining the body size of formless heavens.
