Within the nine sections of the fourth part on detailed explanation, the second section, on the characteristics of all forms of patience, has five parts: 1. general question; 2. brief answer, with two parts: (1) presentation, (2) explanation (with two parts as in the treatise); 3. listing of names, with two parts: (1) presentation, (2) explanation (with three parts as in the treatise); 4. separate explanation; 5. general conclusion. The separate explanation has three parts: (1) explaining the patience of enduring others' hostility and harm; (2) explaining the patience of accepting various sufferings; (3) explaining the patience of reflective discernment of dharmas.
