二別釋分四十四中第三十九依懷嫌恨等心不給施飲食等立學處相分四。一立犯人。二顯求人。三明犯相分二。一明有染犯分三。一立因。二顯果。三結。二明非染犯。四明無犯相分二。一總標。二別釋分五。一依現無物明無犯。二依不如法及不宜物明無犯。三依方便調伏明無犯。四依持護王意明無犯。五依僧制明無犯。

Within the second [section], the detailed explanation in forty-four [parts], the thirty-ninth, on establishing the characteristics of the training rule based on harboring resentment and so forth and not providing food, drink, and so forth, has four parts: 1. establishing the person committing the transgression; 2. revealing the person who seeks; 3. explaining the characteristics of the transgression, with two parts: (1) explaining the defiled transgression, with three parts: a. establishing the cause, b. revealing the fruit, c. concluding; (2) explaining the non-defiled transgression; 4. explaining the characteristics of non-transgression, with two parts: (1) general presentation; (2) detailed explanation in five parts: a. explaining non-transgression based on presently lacking the goods, b. explaining non-transgression based on goods that are improper or unsuitable, c. explaining non-transgression based on skillful means for subduing, d. explaining non-transgression based on guarding the king's intention, e. explaining non-transgression based on monastic regulation.
