Of the seven parts, 6. answering the sixth question, 'What are the characteristics of listening to the correct Dharma from a good spiritual friend?', has two [parts]: (1) general statement; (2) specific explanation, which has five [parts]: [a] explaining the meaning of listening to the Dharma based on the notion of a jewel has two [parts]: [i] heading, [ii] explanation; [b] explaining the meaning of listening to the Dharma based on the notion of an eye has two [parts]: [i] heading, [ii] explanation; [c] explaining the meaning of listening to the Dharma based on the notion of illumination has two [parts]: [i] heading, [ii] explanation, which has two [parts]: establishing the cause, and demonstrating the result; [d] explaining the meaning of listening to the Dharma based on the notion of great fruit and superior virtues has two [parts]: [i] heading, [ii] explanation, which has two [parts]: establishing the cause of a small fruit, and establishing the cause of a great fruit; [e] explaining the meaning of listening to the Dharma based on the notion of blameless, great joy has two [parts]: [i] heading, [ii] explanation, which has two [parts]: establishing the cause of a small fruit, and demonstrating the cause of a great fruit.
