Under the seventeen divisions, the fourteenth [section], clarifying the characteristics of distinctions among the bases of the faculties based on wholesome and unwholesome thinking and so forth, is divided into two: 1. clarifying the distinctions among the bases based on the three dharmas of wholesome thinking and so forth, divided into three: (1) clarifying the distinctions among the bases of wholesome thinking, divided into two: i. question, ii. answer; (2) clarifying the distinctions among the bases of wholesome speaking, divided into two: i. question, ii. answer; (3) clarifying the distinctions among the bases of wholesome acting, divided into two: i. question, ii. answer; 2. illustrating by analogy the meanings of the distinctions among the bases of unwholesome thinking and so forth.
