Second, within the seventeen parts of the third [topic], detailed explanation, is the explanation of the meaning of well guarding, well cultivating, and well practicing the three moralities, divided into three: 1. a general question, divided into three: (1) asking about the meaning of well guarding the morality of moral restraint; (2) asking about the meaning of well cultivating the morality of collecting wholesome dharmas; (3) asking about the meaning of well practicing the morality of benefiting sentient beings; 2. an extensive answer; 3. explaining the benefits. The second [topic], the extensive answer, is divided into three.
