非如觸等定遍心故者。遂難重釋。前標所云於善染等皆不定者。等即等取心之與地。此四非但三性不定。亦於諸心諸地不定。故言非如觸等定遍等也。

"Because they do not definitely permeate the mind as contact and so forth do": this is an additional explanation in response to an objection. When it was previously stated that they are "all indeterminate regarding wholesome, defiled, and so forth," "and so forth" includes the mind and the grounds. These four are not only indeterminate regarding the three natures, but are also indeterminate regarding the various minds and the various grounds. Therefore, it is said that they do not definitely permeate like contact and the rest.
